Free Comic Book Day comes to downtown Rochester on May 2, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Collect free comics at participating businesses, hunt for exclusives, and explore downtown - costumes encouraged. Presented by Rochester Opera House with support from Rochester Main Street.
Rochester Opera House presents Free Comic Book Day - one of downtown’s most fun-filled days of the year. Rochester Main Street is proud to partner on this event by pulling permits and supplying insurance so the day can run safely and smoothly.
Plan to spend the day downtown collecting comics, visiting businesses, and making new friends along the way. Costumes are encouraged! Some businesses carry exclusive comics you won’t find anywhere else.
