Zombie Walk
Downtown Rochester · Rochester, NH
On October 23, 2026 at 7 PM, local dance studios shamble through downtown Rochester dancing to "Thriller." The walk starts at Citizens Bank, moves down North Main Street, and ends at Central Street. Zombies of all kinds are welcome to join the front of the parade. Free to watch and join.
One night a year, downtown Rochester belongs to the undead. Local dance studios join together to bring zombies dancing their way through downtown to “Thriller.”
The route: the walk begins at Citizens Bank and heads out onto Bridge Street, then onto North Main Street, working its way down to Hanson Street and ending at the intersection of Central Street.
Want to shamble along? All zombies are welcome - guest zombies walk at the front of the parade with volunteers (the choreographed dancers stay together behind).

We encourage zombies to take over the downtown area before and after the walk. Downtown businesses: if you have something going on that zombies should check out, let us know and we’ll spread the word.

Can anyone join the Zombie Walk?
Yes - zombies of all kinds are welcome! Guest zombies walk at the front of the parade with volunteers, keeping the choreographed dance studio group together behind them.
Is there anything happening before or after the walk?
We encourage zombies to take over downtown before and after the walk - several downtown businesses run zombie-friendly specials and activities. Downtown businesses with something planned can contact us to be featured.

On Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 12 to 3 PM, downtown Rochester businesses hand out candy to costumed kids. Pick up a trick-or-treat bag and the list of participating businesses at Central Square, then work your way down Main Street. Free and family-friendly.
